Fundraising at the Royal George Theater in Chicago

Perfect for small or medium-sized fundraisers.

We sell your organization a block of tickets at a reduced rate, then you re-sell those tickets for whatever price you feel is appropriate. You keep the profits. It’s fast, fun, and the easiest way to have a fundraiser. Schedule the event, work with us on ticket sales, then show up at the theatre ready to laugh! The Royal George Theater, 1641 N. Halsted Street in Chicago, offers optional valet parking and a cash bar before the show and at intermission.

If your fundraiser is large enough to warrant buying out the house (all 110 seats), we sell you the tickets for $15 (half the normal ticket price!) and can offer you the option of using pre-show and intermission time to run your own raffle or bake sale. It’s a great way to increase your profits.

There are five scheduled performances at the Royal George Theater every week. Additional weekday matinee performances of any show (Late Nite Catechism, Put the Nuns in Charge! or Sunday School Cinema) can be added if your schedule requires.

 

Have Nun, Will Travel!

Ideal for large fundraisers or for entertainment throughout the country.

We bring the show to you. What could be more simple?! Your organization provides a church hall, gymnasium, local auditorium, etc., and a few simple set pieces (a desk, chair, chalkboard and podium) and we provide the rest. We bring the actress, stage manager, all props and “give-aways” (holy cards and plastic trinkets for good boys and girls), and recorded pre-show, intermission and exit music. To ensure professional results, we also recommend that you provide a cordless microphone for our actress and a simple sound system so we can play our music. We also supply you with program and advertising flyer files that you can print in whatever quantity you need. An experienced stage manager will visit you at the performance venue before the performance to advise you regarding seating, stage, lighting and sound set-up.

Our goal is to help you run a successful and enjoyable fundraiser. Our representative will be glad to offer advice regarding advertising, suggested ticket prices and tips for increasing your profits.
 

Special Appearances

Sister is available to add her own brand of levity to any event. She can call a bingo game, ride in a float at your parade, speak at dinners or mingle with guests at celebrations or holiday events. The possibilities are endless.
